Abstract: 
this article discusses the methodology of rhythmic gymnastics. In the process of 
developing the sportsmanship of gymnasts, the requirements for individual components were not 
equivalent. The following information is presented: division of the training process into sublevels; 
schedule and periodization of the educational process; research on the specifics of competitions in 
rhythmic gymnastics; the goal, objectives and specific, effective means of rhythmic gymnastics for 
each group of students in accordance with their focus of classes.
