In order to accurately assess the strength of the enterprise and predict the situation on the market, 
SWOT analysis is carried out. SWOT analysis allows you to identify the strengths and 
weaknesses of the enterprise, to foresee the opportunities and dangers that come from the external 
environment surrounding the enterprise. The advantages of the organization are its strengths 
(Strengths); and the shortcomings of the organization are weaknesses (Hneaknesses); 
environmental factors - opportunities (Opportunities), from which the advantages of the 
organization in the market can be created; factors that are a potential opportunity to worsen the 
position of the organization in the market are threats (Threats). An improved model of SWOT 
analysis is called SNW analysis. Strengths, Neutrals, Weaknesses. The SNW analysis focuses on 
the average market situation (N) in contrast to the strengths and weaknesses analysis of the 
SWOT matrix.PEST analysis is used to analyze the macro environment. PEST-analysis is based 
on the study of political, economic, social and technological factors. There are two variants of this 
analysis: STEP- and PEST-analysis. A variant of the STEP analysis is used in countries with a 
stable political system and a developed economy. Here mainly technological and social factors are 
taken into account. To analyze the macro environment of countries whose economy is 
underdeveloped or whose economy is in a period of transition, a variant of the PEST analysis
which mainly takes into account political and economic factors, is used. 
The article is devoted to the analysis of factors affecting the decision-making process in 
conditions of uncertainty. In this study, an analysis of the role and importance of management 
decisions in ensuring the healthy functioning of the company in conditions of uncertainty was 
carried out, as well as an analysis of environmental factors that have a direct and indirect impact 
and the issues of their influence on management decisions were considered.
