Control Area:
Spaces within a building which are
enclosed and bounded
by exterior walls, fire walls, fire barriers and roofs, or a combination
thereof, where quantities of hazardous materials not exceeding the
maximum allowable quantities per
control area are stored, dispensed,
used or handled.

Combustible Liquid.
A liquid having a closed cup flash point at or above
100

C). Combustible liquids shall be subdivided as follows:
3.5.1
Class II. Liquids having a closed cup flash point at or above 100

C)
and below 140

C).
3.5.2
Class IIIA. Liquids having a closed cup flash point at or above 140

C) and below 200
o
F (93

C).

Class IIIB. Liquids having a closed cup flash point at or above 200
