that folder to which the Tukan8k program will be installed. Besides, the user can
determine placement of additional folders containing exemplary spectra and
exemplary nuclide libraries.

To confirm selected options and begin file transfer to a disk press ‘Install’,

If installed version of the program should support Tukan-8k-PCI or
Tukan-4k-ISA (i.e. during step 3 'complete’ option was selected or during step 4
option ‘Tukan 8k PCI’ or ‘Tukan 4k ISA’), then at the end of the installation
sequence process of driver installation will be activated. 
Console mode (DOS) window will appear on a screen. Displayed text will inform
that ‘WinDriver v.6.02’ is being installed. This process can last tens of seconds
and usually ends autonomously. 
In case when ‘WinDriver’ was already installed in PC, then adequate
communicate will be displayed and the user will be asked to confirm required
action. After that the window will be autonomously closed.
In case when the program is configured to support Tukan-8k-PCI analyzer (see
above), then immediately after closing previous, next console mode (DOS)
window will be displayed due to installation of a driver dedicated to selected
analyzer type. That process will also last tens of seconds and the window will be
autonomously closed when installation finishes.

Successful end of the program installation is signaled by appearance of ’
InstallShield Wizard Completed’ form, which can be closed by selecting ‘Finish’.
Installation for Tukan_8k_PCI card

The installation process consists of two steps:  installation of the program and
installation of the analyzer device.
It is recommended to follow sequentially all steps mentioned below.
1. 
Plug in the PCI card  into any available PCI slot (the power of the computer
needs to be switched off)
2. 
Turn the computer on
3. 
When a message informing about detection of new hardware device is
displayed by the operating system, please discard wizard by selecting
„Cancel" button.
4. 
Insert "Tukan-8k-USB Installation disk"" into CD-ROM device.
Follow the instructions displayed by the installation program.
Attention! 
-When during the installation process the system requests for "Jungo

installation disk", please confirm with "OK". Next dialog window
should contain proper path to WinDrvr6.sys file, which is 
"Drivers\Tukan8kPCIdrv" placed on Installation CD.
If the Tukan-8k-PCI analyzer was already plugged in into PCI slot before run of
the program installation procedure, then no any extra activity is required. 
If the Tukan-8k-PCI analyzer was not plugged in into PCI slot before run of the
program installation procedure, then after the procedure ends, switch the
computer off, plug in the PCI device into PCI slot, turn the computer on and the
system should detect and install necessary drivers autonomously.
Remark:
 - When during the installation process the system requests for ‘Jungo
installation disk’, please confirm with "OK". Next dialog window should
contain proper path to WinDrvr6.sys file. This file is placed in
"Drivers\Tukan8kPCIdrv" folder in the ‘Tukan8k Installation Disk’.
Installation for Tukan_8k_USB box

The installation process consists of two steps:  installation of the program and 
installation of the analyzer device.
It is recommended to follow sequentially all instructions mentioned below.
1. 
Insert "Tukan-8k-USB Installation disk" into CD-ROM device.
Follow the instructions displayed by the installation program.
2. 
After the installation program is finished plug in an USB cord to the
available USB port. When information about detecting a new hardware is
displayed, follow the instructions of the wizard.
When asked for source files, please select the following folder:
"Program files\Tukan8k\Tukan8kUSBdrv".
3. 
For question:
   
"Can Windows connect to Windows Update to search for software?"
   
choose option:
  
 "No, not this time"
  
 Click "Next" button.
4. 
For question:
   
"What do You want to the Wizard to do?"
   
choose option:
  
 "Install from a list of specific location. (Advanced)".
  
 Click "Next" button.
5. 
Keep default setting:
  
 "Search removable media (floppy, CD_ROM...)".
   
Click "Next" button.

Installation for USB Protection Key

installation of the dongle driver. 
After the installation program is finished plug in an USB key to the available
USB port. When information about detecting a new hardware is displayed, click
on that, the wizard window should be displayed.
