Batıda ise meydan merkezli gelişmiştir. Tebliğde medeniyetimizde fetih hadisesi bir şenlendirme, 
ihya ve inşa faaliyeti anlamına geldiğine ve fetihten sonra Sinop’un yetiştirdiği âlimlerin, şehre 
kazandırdığı yüce sıfatlarla “güven Ģehri” inşa ettiklerine dikkatler çekilecektir. Onların inşa et-
tiği İslam şehirlerinin sadece seyredilen değil, yaĢanılan bir güzellik sundukları veya güven top-
lulukları oluşturdukları Sinop örneği ile söz konusu edilecektir.

The Effect of Turkish Islamic Scientists/Ulema on Sinop City Identity 
 
Abstract 
Turkish-carrier location in the ancient city of Islamic culture in the context of the role of protec-
ting the Islamic identity and heritage is becoming a little more important with each passing day. 
Especially in recent years with subversive activities which serve the aims of the imperialist counts 
from religion to destroy the works of the activities of extremist groups in the Islamic world and 
action are eroded their city identity. This study, the first city in the Islamic civilization identity, 
culture and rose in the city of scholars will focus on the effects of this identity. Cities and urbani-
zation that is important in the context of Islamic culture and Muslim communities in the provision 
reflects the characteristics and outward-opening doors. This is largely rebuilt towns of safety is 
based  on  the  Prophet  in  Mecca  and  Medina.  Islamic  Monotheism/Tawhid  primarily  due  to  the 
unity of society / association, including human, reflects the integrity of the environment and the 
universe. Secondly, the Prophet and the city began the process of urbanization and construction 
of the conquered cities of Islamic civilization up to the present time gained identity will be exp-
lained with the example of Sinop. Prophet’s ulama which can be considered varicose will focus 
on the impact on urban and urbanization. In this context, safety is one of the main features of the 
city / trust to be said and can fall into the  negative attention of the Muslim community  will be 
taken in case of loss. Thirdly, the last two centuries that give identity to the city knowing or not 
knowing how to create the identity of the erosion of the noted architect spiritual care will be taken 
in the context of Sinop. The city of peace and security in the Black Sea has been  host to many 
civilizations throughout the history of Sinop. A membership to a city in the Islamic tradition and 
personality is a part of the  identity. Therefore, dozens  of  worldwide famous Sinobi nicknamed 
the ulama trained and given the humanitarian and Islamic identity to Sinop. The ultimate goal of 
Islam is Human Perfection or kamil human civilization. The Farabi’s expression to create Madina 
alFâzıla. Therefore, it would withdraw the spiritual architects and scholars caution in the town of 
Sinop, for example in the context of the impact on people in the construction of a virtuous city.

Islamic scholars mainly inherited and continuity within the framework of people with knowledge 
and experience to make a delicate and elegant urban is evident in the example of Sinop. Cities in 
the Islamic civilization is based  on the  mosque and  in the West it  was developed based on the 
square. After Communiqué civilization in our conquests incident that mean a sequencing enliven 
and construction activities and conquest of scholars raised in Sinop, with sublime attributes that 
give the city "safe city" had built, attention  will be drawn. They've built the cities  of Islam not 
only watched when they create a living trust or beauty they offer the community will be concerned 
with the example of Sinop.

Öz 
Tarihteki en önemli ilim ve kültür merkezlerinden biri de, Sinop ilidir. Bu bölgedeki mevcut med-
reseler ile çeşitli bilim dallarında yetişen âlimler, bu gerçeği açıkca göstermektedir. Bu yüzden 
Nadir Tabakât kitaplarından ve Türkiye İhtisas Kütüphânelerinden tesbit edebildiğimiz aralarında 
Abdullah  Ahdî  b.el-Kâdı  Ali,  İlyas  Avni  Efendi,  Ahmed  Efendi,  Ali  b.Hüseyn  Efendi,  Hafız 
Ebûbekir lütfi Efendi, Hasan Hilmi Efendi, Halîl b. Resûl Efendi, İlyas b. İbrahim Efendi, Mah-
mud Efendi, Mümin b. Mukbil Efendi ve Nebî Abdülbârî b.Turhan Efendi’nin de aralarında bu-
lunduğu Sinoplu âlimlerin hayatları ile  birçok sahaya dâir kütüphânelerde bulunan Arapça ve 
Osmanlıca elyazması ve matbû eserlerini topluca sunmak, bilim dünyası için son derece faydalı 
olacaktır. Böylece Sinop ili kültür tarihi ile ilgili ciddî bir boşluk doldurulacak ve araştırmacılara 
bu hususta yön verilecektir. Maalesef böyle önemli bir konu, günümüze kadar hiç ele alınmamış-
tır. Nitekim Kâtip Çelebi merhûmun “Keşfu’z-zunûn” adlı eserinin mukaddimesi’nde naklettiği 
“Kim bir mü’minin hayat tarihini yazarsa, onu yaşatmış gibi olur.” meâlindeki hadîs-i şerîf ile 
“Bizim  eserlerimiz,  bizi  tanıtan  belgelerdir.  Bunun  için,  bizden  sonra  eserlerimize  bakınız.” 
meâlindeki beyit, bu mevzûnun ne derece büyük önem arz ettiğini göstermektedir. Nitekim onla-
rın esasen fazilet ve kemallerine delalet edecek olan kitaplarının isimleri yazılarak, ilmî yüksek-
likleri ve insanlığa yaptıkları hizmetleri ispat edilmektedir. Bunun yanı sıra “Büyüklerini tanıma-
yan bir millet, asla yükselemez.” veciz söz de, burada hatırlatılmalıdır. Bir milletin manevî kültür 
değerlerinin yekûnunu din, dil, tarih, sanat, edebiyat, örf ve âdetler ile düşünüş ve yaşayış tarzları 
meydana getirmektedir. Bu kültür değerleri, milletlerin hayatında önemli bir yer tutarlar. Millet-
ler, bu tip kültür değerleri üzerinde hassasiyetle dururlar ve bunları mümkün mertebe zedeleme-
den ve hatta geliştirerek kendinden sonraki nesillere devrederler. Sinop kültür tarihini de gün yü-
züne çıkarmak, şanlı milletimizin bu aziz değerlerine katkıda bulunmaktır.
