kurmaca filmi Bulutlar› Beklerken’in (2003) haz›rl›k ve
çekim aflamalar› s›ras›nda S›rtlar›ndaki Hayat adl›
belgeseli çekti. 
After making several award-winning shorts, she
made her feature film debut with 1994’s The Trace.
The film was presented at numerous international
venues, though she received international recognition
with her next feature film, Journey to the Sun in 1999.
In competition at the Berlin Film Festival, it received
the Blue Angel Award (Best European Film) and the
Peace Prize, along with numerous awards at the
‹stanbul Festival including Best Film, Best Director, the
FIPRESCI Prize and the Audience Award. Waiting for
the Clouds (2003) is her third feature film, and she
filmed the documentary Life on Their Shoulders during
the preparation and filming process of the former.

Saksofoncu Olarak Sanatç›n›n Portresi adl› bir belgesel
çekti. fiu anda “The Journal of Film Preservation”
dergisinin bafl editörü ve Montreal’de yay›mlanan “24
images” sinema dergisinin editör kurulunun bir üyesidir.
Daudelin, ayn› zamanda Beyrut’taki St. Joseph
Üniversitesi’nde konuk ö¤retim üyesidir.
Curator of Cinémathèque québécoise from 1972 to
2002, Robert Daudelin was previously editor of the
film magazine “Objectif” (published in Montréal from
1960 to 1967) as well as The Deputy Director of the
Montréal International Film Festival (from 1963 to
1967). Closely associated with the film archive
movement, he was Secretary General of the
International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF) from
1979 to 1985, and its President from 1989 to 1995. He
has written numerous articles on cinema and has
directed the feature documentary Konitz, Portrait of the
Artist as Saxophonist in 1987. He is presently Editor-in-
chief of “The Journal of Film Preservation”, member of
the Editorial Board of the Montréal film magazine “24
images” and is a guest lecturer at St. Joseph University
in Beirut.

ile Wild at Heart / Vahfli Duygular filminde, “‹kiz Tepeler”
TV dizisinin pilot bölümünde ve “Hotel Room” dizisinin
üç bölümünde yap›mc›l›¤›n› üstlendi. 1996’da, Jane
Campion’›n yönetti¤i Portrait of A Lady / Bir Kad›n›n
Portresi’nin yap›mc›s›d›r. 2001’de, David Lynch’in
Mulholland Drive / Mulholland Ç›kmaz›’nda ilk kez
perdede göründü. Ayr›ca, iki y›l boyunca Michael Jackson
için k›sa filmler ve video kliplerin yan› s›ra, “Beverly Hills
90210” dizisinin pilot bölümünün de yap›m›n› üstlendi.
He’s a director, screenwriter and producer. He was a
founder of the American Cinematheque. In 1981,
alongside Kathryn Bigelow, he co-wrote, co-directed and
produced the independent film The Loveless, with
Willem Dafoe starring in his first major film role. In
1986, he was one of the founding forces of the
independent production company Propaganda Films,
responsible for thousands of music videos,
commercials, and movies such as Madonna: Truth or
Dare, and Being John Malkovich. He produced Wild at
Heart, the pilot movie of the “
Twin Peaks” TV series,
and three episodes of “
Hotel Room” with David Lynch.
In 1996 he produced The Portrait of a Lady, directed by
Jane Campion. In 2001, he appeared for the first time
on screen in David Lynch’s Mulholland Drive. He also
produced short films and videos for Michael Jackson
for two years, and the pilot for “
Beverly Hills 90210”.
