Connect the charging plug of the charger with the charging socket on the device.
Now plug the charger into the power socket. Charging will now start.
Charging is automatically stopped when the charge indicator on the charger lights up green.
It is not possible to over-charge the battery.
After charging is finished, first disconnect the charger plug from the power socket, then
the charging plug from the battery.
ATTENTION
In the case of prolonged storage, the battery may be destroyed. For this reason, observe
the following instructions when the device is not in use for a longer period of time (e.g. in
the winter months):
The battery must be fully recharged after each use. The maximum standstill time is 3
months, after which the battery must be recharged.
6.2 Quick closure valve/hose/spray lance
Figures 3 - 4
Push the hose up to the stop on the connection sleeve of the quick closure valve and
screw down with the coupling nut. Screw the spray lance onto the quick closure valve.
Then screw the required plastic nozzle (flat jet, Y-double cone, small/big shower) onto
the spray lance.
NOTE!
4 different plastic nozzles are included with the device for various applications. The
following table shows the output quantities of the nozzles, together with the spraying
angle and spraying pattern.
The nozzles were laboratory tested with a dynamic pressure of 2 and 3 bar.
Unscrew the safety cap on the hose connection F and push the hose up to the stop on
the connection sleeve of the hose connection F , then screw down tight with the cou-
pling nut.

7.1 Filling the device
Figures 5 - 7
Prepare the spaying media separately according to the manufacturer’s instructions and
do not mix in the container. The following table provides information about dosing
quantities:
NOTE!
First add half of the water, then the media, followed by the other half of the water.
Check that the drain aperture E is closed before filling.
-
Remove the container cap A and fill the device through the filling sieve B. Close the
container with the container cap.
CAUTION
Note maximum fill level (see technical data), safety instructions and permissible work-
ing materials.
Check fill quantity.
Comply with the data of the spray product manufacturer!
Fasten the spray lance K in the spray lance seat C.
7.2 Correctly connecting and fitting the shoulder strap to the body
Figure 8
Your device is equipped with two padded shoulder straps which can be adjusted in length.
The device must be worn as close to the body as possible and parallel to the spine for opti-
mal load distribution and fatigue-free operation.
Fasten the shoulder straps as shown to the lower left and right outer strap buttons and
position the device on your back.
Tighten the carrying straps over the shoulders by pulling the lower strap ends. The car-
rying straps can be lengthened or shortened by adjusting the strap buckles.
