CONCLUSION
Politeness is one of the cultural aspects that people must pay attention to in cross
cultural communication. Concerning with verbal politeness, every culture has its own
politeness principles. In speaking with other people from different cultures, someone
must follow politeness principles of those cultures so that a misunderstanding can be
avoided.
