Vifria
Vifria is a circus and dance company based in Stockholm that focuses on
interdisciplinary meetings. Vifria’s artistic leader is Malin Stattin in collaboration with
circus performers and dancers etc. Vifria has since 2008 produced and toured five
performances of different character; Quartet Notariebacken 17b, site specific piece
Telgeness, duet Blåställ, duet Hello! and most recently the library show Kanon. Vifria
tours for all ages.
Buddy – a homemade animalistic post punk circus popping with a twist and tail. Buddy
is a duet with Malin Stattin and a robot. In focus are different relationships between the
two of them. The robot was constructed in collaboration between a choreographer, an
artist and an engineer and has an organic but not human shape; it does not have arms,
legs etc. The idea springs from the link between object manipulation, choreography and
body. How an object can be interpreted to have an own spirit or will depending on context
and how you relate to it.

Voces Nordicae
The vocal ensemble Voces Nordicae consists of 16 singers and the Danish conductur
Lone Larsen, who founded the ensemble in 1999. Looking for a new and radical
approach to the choral scene the ensemble draws the most experienced singers from
different musical backgrounds who share the will to expand and renew the Swedish
choral tradition.
By collaborating with Jörgen Krantz, actor in improvisational theater, Voces Nordicae
has expanded the perception towards musical and physical impulses, and has learned
to react to the unexpected on stage. This work inspired to the creation of the latest
performance, Without Recipe, a fusion of choral singing and improvisational theater. With
this performance Voces Nordicae has found new ways of involving and communicating
with the audience.
Voces Nordicae was named Choir of the year in 2008 by Rikskonserter.

Hello what´s your name? A name is important and we’ve all got one! Imagine life without
our names, how should we address each other? If I want to call on my friend Tove and
she doesn’t have a name, what do I do? This is a poetic story of names illustrated with
contemporary dance, music, songs and animations.
Choreographer: Ossi Nisskala
Dancers: Mira Björkman, Måns Boll, Annica Styrke
Reviews: “The choreographic embodiment of the dance trio’s play and discoveries of
themselves and each other has a beautiful immediate spark and a poetic glow that is
spellbinding”.
