kar olundu (şək.5). Divar üzəri bişmiş kərpic və
kirəmit qırıqlarından, həmçinin şirsiz və şirli saxsı
fraqmentlərindən ibarət olmaqla sistemsiz tikilmiş-
dir. Şimal-cənub istiqamətdə olan divarın qərb kənarı
boyu üç yerdə biri-birindən təxminən 120 sm ara-
Şimal-cənub istiqamətdə
olan divarın mərkəz hissələrində çökəklik və divarın
qərb istiqamətə doğru nisbətən əyilməsi onun qərb
dibi boyu olan paya yerlərinin divarın möhkəmliyini
artırmağa xidmət etdiyini güman etməyə əsas verir.
Həmçinin, bu dirək yerləri divarın yanında və divarı
kəsmədiyi üçün onunla həmdövr olmasını göstərir.
Şimal-cənub istiqamətdə 5.8 m ona çarpaz olan
şərq-qərb istiqamətdə 5.9 m uzunluqda olan divarın
döşəməsini yalnız qazıntı kvadratının profillərində
izləmək mümkün olmuşdur. Qeyd edilən divar qərb
ğınıq vəziyyətdə izlənilməkdədir. Üzərində bişmiş
kərpic, kirəmit fraqmentləri ilə yanaşı, üzəri yaşıl
şirlə örtülmüş və marqansla dairəvi-spiral naxış-
larla bəzədilmiş, həmçinin üzərində səliqəsiz tünd
sarı şirlə bəzədilmiş və qəhvəyi şirlə örtülmüş saxsı
fraqmentlərinə əsasən divarın IX əsrin sonlarından
tez olmayaraq qurulduğunu söyləmək olar. Divarın
şərqdən qərbə doğru olan 2.9 m-lik hissəsi bir qədər
fərqlidir.
Təndirin
ölçüləri aşağıdakı kimidir:
north (5.9 m long, 0.6-0.8 m wide) (Fig.5). The wall
was built unsystematically and there are baked brick
and tile remains, fragments of glazed and unglazed
dishes in it. There are three hollows (depth: 100 cm
and more; diametre: 20-30 cm) located 120 cm apart
from one another along the west side of the north-east
wall. There is a hollow at the center of the north-south
wall and the wall bends westwards. The pile holes
along the wall show that these piles were sunk to make
the wall stronger. Also these pile holes do not cross
the wall and this means that they belong to the same
period. The floors of the north-south wall (5.8 m) and
east-west wall (5.9 m) were only seen in the profiles
of the excavated square. The above-mentioned wall
continues in a western direction and is seen scattered
in the third square. There are baked brick and tile frag-
ments, pottery fragments with a green glaze covering
and round-spiral ornament done with potassium per-
manganate. Also, there are faience fragments roughly
decorated with a dark yellow glaze and covered with a
brown glaze. From these elements, it is reasonable to
say that the wall was built at the end of the 9th century.
The part of the wall (2.9 m) running from east to
west is a bit different. The edges of the wall founda-
tion were built of baked bricks. However, the rest of
the wall was built of raw bricks and clay mortar. This
wall’s structure is different and it shows that it is ear-
lier than the others. It is connected to the north wall
of the house in the first square. At the southern edge
of the above-mentioned wall, two destroyed tandoors
were found. The north edge of one of the tandoors was
destroyed by the same wall. The destroyed edge of the
tandoor was restored using baked brick fragments and
it shows that this tandoor was also used after the de-
struction was inflicted. This tandoor is different from
the others in its structure and patterns. The parts of the
tandoor were made seperately and put together (four
circles remain intact). Three parts are covered entirely
with protrusions incised and indentations (Fig.6). The
dimensions of the tandoors are as follows:
The height of the circles: 13 cm; upper circle: 5 cm;
second circle: 2.5 cm: third circle: 3 cm; bottom circle:

Şərq-qərb istiqamətində olan divara paralel iki
cərgə çaydaşından 0.20 m enində və 2.5 m uzunlu-
Təndirin və ona birləşən ensiz diva-
rın bir qədər əvvəl qeyd edilən divarla heç bir əlaqəsi
yoxdur. Ensiz divarla ona şimal-cənub istiqamətdə
birləşən 50 sm enində və 1.9 m uzunluğunda olan
divarın içərisində 57 sm diametrində dağılmış təndir
vardır. Qeyd edilən 1.03 m diametrində olan təndirdən
şimal-şərqdə şimal profilinə bitişik üzəri bişmiş
kərpiclərlə döşənmiş ocaq yeri də qeydə alındı. Həmin
divarın iç tərəfindən mis pul aşkar edildi. Ensiz divar,
rada şimal-cənub istiqamətində 4.6 m, şərq-qərb
istiqamətində 4.9 m-lik sahə qara və qatışıq torpaqla
müşahidə olunurdu. Plana salındıqdan sonra həmin qat
götürüldü. Həmin qat götürülərkən içərisindən dəmir
ox ucluğu və mis qolbaq aşkar edildi (tablo VII, 1).
15 sm qalınlığında qara ləkə götürüldükcə, alt hissədə
onun qərbə doğru daraldığı qeydə alındı. Qeyd olu-
nan qarışıqlıq və dağıntılar çınqıl qatına qədər davam
2.5 cm; exterior diametre: 71 cm; interior diametre: 63
cm.
Another wall (width: 0.20 m; length: 2.5 m) which
was built in two rows of pebbles was detected par-
allel to the wall running in the east-west direction.
Though the bricks were laid in two rows across and
two rows lengthways in some parts, the width of the
wall remains constant. From the western part, this wall
is connected to the wall which stretches northwards.
From the eastern part, it is connected to the tandoor
(diametre: 1.03 m). The top of the tandoor underwent
destruction. However, the foundation, which is built
of baked bricks, is clearly visible (Fig.7). The tandoor
and narrow wall are not connected to the wall men-
tioned above. There is a destroyed tandoor (diametre:
57 cm) between the narrow wall and a wall (width:
50 cm; length: 1.9 m) connected to it from the north-
south direction. There is a hearth cobbled with baked
bricks adjoining the north profile in a north-easterly
direction from the tandoor (1.03 m diametre) which
was mentioned above. A copper coin was found in the
inner part of the wall. The narrow walls, tandoors, fire
installations built of baked bricks and situated north
of the second square, the agricultural and waste wells
connected to them indicate that this area had been the
kitchen of a dwelling. All the details about it will be
given in the description of square IV.
In general, the inner areas of the walls running in a
north-south and east-west direction were investigated
down to the gravel-stone layer. The total destruction of
structures is observed down to the gravel-stone layer.
Areas in the north-south direction (length: 4.6 m) and
in the east-west direction (length: 4.9 m) consist of
dark and mixed soil. After including this in the plan,
the layer was removed. An iron arrowhead and a cop-
per bracelet were found during the removal of that lay-
er (table VII, 1). During the removal of a 15 cm-thick
dark spot , it was seen that the spot gradually narrows
directly to the west. The above-mentioned rubble and
destruction were seen down to the gravel-stone layer
and in some parts they were seen as a heap on the grav-
el-stone layer.
