RESEARCH OF HAILSTORM AND RAINER PHENOMENAS ON THE TER­RITORY OF AZERBAIJAN AND METHODS OF THEIR FORECASTING
Summary
According to meteorological, hydrological and radar-tracking supervisions of climate warming the dangerous hydrometeorological phenomena of storm origin (downpour, thunder, hail and related hidh waters and mud flows) are investigated.

It is established that for the period 1991-2005 average temperature has risen by average of 0.50C to rather climatic norms, varying in the range 0,3-0,80C for different regions. For most regions of the rise in temperature was accompanied by reduction of quantity of atmospheric precipitations, repeatability of thunder-storms and hailstones. However it is shown that reduction of hailstones repeatability basically occurs for the account concerning weak processes.

On the basis of long-term radar-tracking researches hailstorm processes in 1983-2008 and by the analysis of the physical processes occurring in convective clouds classification of hailstorm processes observed on the most part of territory Southern Caucasus is spent, their most informative radar-tracking characteristics and repeatability are defined. Regularities of development dynamics, regional features, and also mesoareas of the most powerful hailstorm processes occurrence are revealed.

The extensive analysis of anti hail operations spent in territory of Azerbaijan during 1967-1990 is realized and with use of new indicators their physical and economic efficiency estimation are spent. By the experiments it is established, that anti hail operations considerably reduces intensity and duration of hail pad, and also the catastrophic downpours leading to flooding, high waters and mud flows. It is shown, that renewal of anti hail operations would allow to reduce considerably an expected damage from hailstones and to promote economic development of hail dangerous regions.

On the basis of researches mud flows the phenomena and the storm processes spent according to meteorological, hydrological and radar-tracking supervision for 2001-2009 it is established, that on stream creation character of moving of the storm centers concerning orientation of pools of the rivers and a direction of their currents essentially influences. The most powerful mud flows are formed when the storm centre with the raised water maintenance approaches on pool селеопасной the rivers with rather slow speed and in a direction against a watercourse.

A new radar technique over short-term forecast of hailstorm phenomena, including their location, time and power based on their identified characteristics and regional characteristics.

New methods of the forecast of high waters and the mud flows, based on radar-tracking measurement of rainfall in catchment areas and mud pockets and taking into account the nature of the movement of storm centers of orientation relative to the direction of the channels and rivers mudflows.
