Summary
The articleis dedicated to the literary-theoretical views of the prominent
British poet Tomas Sterns Eliot and his famous poem “The Waste Land”. The
literary-theoretical views of the poet on the topics such as the religion and literature,
the national
culture and modern literature, romanticism and modern poem are
analyzed in this article. The original poetic style and philosophical ideas of the poem
“The Waste Land” are researched in the article too.
