For development and prosperity annual program report

Orientation  meeting  with  signing  Grant  Agreements 
was  held  in  Shymkent  on  March  31,  2016.  PA 
"Bereke"  has  signed  Grant  Agreements  with  nine 
grantee  CSOs.  The  heads  and  accountants  of  nine 
Level-2  CSOs  from  the  Southern  region  participated 
in  the  meeting.  There  were  only  nine  organizations 
because  one  of  the  Level-2  CSOs  –  WPA  "Ana 
Zhuregi", which had got an approval for OD grant, sent an official letter to Bereke stating that the 
General meeting of CSO founders made a decision to eliminate their CSO due to health and family 
issues. Bereke staff had a phone and personal conversations with the Head of organization Elmira 
Temirbayeva  but  she  said  that  their  decision  was  final.  Bereke  informed  AOR  about  the  situation 
and a decision has been made to substitute the WPA "Ana Zhuregi" by the other CSO of the Level-
1  from  the  reserve  list  –  Public  Association  "Women's  Club  "Veronica"  from  Baizak  rayon  of 
Zhambyl oblast.
