3. Terminology - a set of not linguistic, but artificially created signs. The followers of this interpretation believe that the terms are formed and function in artificially created conditions that oppose the conditions of a natural language, and cannot be considered on an equal footing with ordinary words.³⁴. This opinion is shared by V.M. Leichik, who considers terminology to be a spontaneously emerging set of terms³⁵. N.B. Gvishiani, considering the issues of metalanguage research, believes that terminology presupposes the study of a conventionally accepted semasiological system, and not the natural human language, arbitrarily used for communication purposes: “... sensory cognition through sensations is primary; it is the source of all knowledge. However, this is just one of the forms or sides of the cognition process. The second side lies in rational knowledge, which processes the material of the senses and is based on the formation of the most general concepts. These concepts can be useful for the further development of this science only when strictly defined words or phrases are assigned to them. In other words, the scientific results obtained cannot become the property of mankind until the movement of thoughts has reached such a level of abstraction, at which it is possible to combine a newly created concept with a certain symbol or sign. " ³⁶. Thus, we see that two sides are distinguished for the formation of scientific knowledge: sensory cognition and rational, and in this process terminology is the final stage of any scientific research and is a superstructure over the naturally developing lexical system of the language.

From these points of view, we see that most researchers are of the opinion that terminology forms an autonomous section of vocabulary and propose to consider terminology within the framework of a separate science. Therefore, we can say that terminology, being a set of terms, is an independent layer of any national language and is closely correlated both with the professional activity of a person and with the corresponding reference sphere.

Thus, in this study, we take as a basis the definition of terminology as a closed vocabulary context, which is sufficiently mastered only by representatives of a certain sphere of human activity, and the terminology of a certain subject area is understandable only to them. We took this definition as a basis, since we believe that mastery of terminology is one of the most important conditions for full functioning in a specialized sphere of human activity. V. Raskin notes in this regard: “... the professional language is not fully understood by an ordinary native speaker, special training is required to master it, and therefore its speakers relate to it more consciously and, therefore, he is not subject to the spontaneous activity of the masses of speakers in to such a degree as a common language - all this serves, in his opinion, a guarantee of stability and high organization of professional languages ​​"³⁷.
