Managed pressure drilling (MPD) is a drilling
technology applied to unconventional prospects where
conventional, hydrostatically over-balanced drilling methods
encounter problems. MPD finds its greatest success in drilling
plays where the margin between pore pressure and fracture
gradient is very narrow. The MPD system constitutes several
skids containing manifolds, valves, and sensors that plumb into
the drilling rig mud circulating system. This system creates a
closed atmosphere in the wellbore, which allows MPD
technology to achieve a target equivalent circulating density
(ECD) by adjusting surface backpressure across the wellhead.
Once the target ECD is reached, stable bottom-hole pressure is
established.
MPD allows drilling operations to continue "at balance"
in oil and gas plays where primary well control cannot meet the
needs of pore pressures due to weak fracture gradients in the
well profile. MPD technology provides the required calculated
surface backpressure to account for drilling fluid density
deficiencies. The system is also able to account for lost annular
friction pressure during connections as well as variations in
bottomhole pressure due to surge/swab effects resulting from
hoisting operations. In addition to the increase in safety as a
result of wellbore stability gained from MPD, well economics
improve greatly making managed pressure drilling a highly
selectable application.

“Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) is an adaptive
drilling process used to precisely control the annular pressure
profile throughout the wellbore. The objectives are to ascertain
the downhole pressure environment limits and to manage the
annular hydraulic pressure profile accordingly.” In non-
technical terms, the simplest yet most compelling definition of
managed pressure drilling is “cheating Mother Nature.” As
most drillers learn on the first day of their careers, bottomhole
pressure is normally maintained above pore pressure by simply
controlling the density of the drilling fluid. When density gets
too high, the formation begins to drink fluid and it’s time to
stop. Casing must be run to isolate the open hole before drilling
can continue. The common objective of all currently known
managed pressure drilling techniques is to stretch or eliminate
casing points to allow drilling beyond conventional limits of
depth or pressure variation. Mother Nature is thus cheated out
of her desire of preventing wells from reaching their ultimate
objective depth. MPD provides a closed-loop circulation
system in which pore pressure, formation fracture pressure, and
bottomhole pressure are balanced and managed at surface.
Drilling fluid is supplemented by surface backpressure, which
can be adjusted much faster in response to downhole
conditions

conventionally.
Although it originated as a solution to “undrillable”
wells, today wells of all types can use the technique to manage
critical downhole pressures more effectively, leading to
improved drilling efficiency and enhanced safety

Qazkondensat yataqlarınin işlənilmə təcrübəsi göstərir
ki, yataqların istismarı prosesində quyuların məhsuldarlığı
müəyyən müddətdən sonra tədricən aşağı düşür. Quyuların
məhsuldarlığının aşağı düşməsi nəinki onların istismarında bir
sıra problemlər yaradır, həmcinin yataqların işlənilməsinin
idarə olunmasında müəyyən çətinliklər əmələ gətırir və son
nəticədə istismar prosesinin iqtisadi göstəricilərin aşagı
düşməsinə səbəb olur. Çox zaman məhsuldarlığın aşağı
düşməsi, quyuların istismarının dayandırılmasının əsas
səbəblərindən biri olur.
Qazkondensat
quyularinin
istismarı
prosesində
məhsuldarlığın aşağı düşməsi müxtəlif geoloji-texniki və
texnoloji amillər ilə bağlıdır. Bu amillər əsasən aşağıdakılardır:
quyudibi

kollektorun
Göstərilən əngəllər həm qazma və həm də istismar
proseslərində əmələ gəlir. Bu əngəllər əsas etibarilə layın təbii

Quyuların hasilatlarını artırmaq üçün və ya sabit

Bu tədbirlərdən ən geniş yayılmışı və səmərəli olanı quyudibi
